What will it feel like inside the Hyperbaric Chamber?

Inside the hyperbaric chamber, especially one like the Oxyhealth Vitaeris 320 used at Livkraft, the experience is designed to be comfortable, but there are a few sensations you might notice:

1. Pressure Changes: As the chamber pressurizes and depressurizes, you might feel a sensation in your ears similar to what's experienced during airplane takeoffs and landings. This is due to the change in atmospheric pressure. It's often recommended to swallow, yawn, or gently pinch your nostrils and blow (Valsalva maneuver) to help equalize the pressure in your ears.

2. Temperature Fluctuations: The chamber may become slightly warmer as it pressurizes, and cooler as it depressurizes. This is a normal response to changing air pressure and being in an enclosed space.

3. Spacious Environment: The Elve EH36 is a spacious chamber, so you shouldn't feel overly confined or claustrophobic. Nevertheless, it's an enclosed space, so it might feel different from an open room. There is a large viewport at the top of the chamber where your head rests easily on 5-star Resort pillows to aid in making the experience feel more comfortable and spacious.

4. Increased Oxygen: If you're using an oxygen mask, you'll breathe in a higher concentration of oxygen than usual. This doesn't typically have a noticeable sensation, but you may feel more refreshed after the session.

5. Quiet and Relaxing: Inside the chamber, external sounds will be muffled, creating a tranquil environment filled with ambient white noise effect in addition to the therapeutic. Many people use this time to relax, meditate, or even take a nap.

6. Constant communication: Since you are able to take electronics inside the chamber, you are actually required to have a device with you to be able to communicate with LIVKRAFT staff during your session. LIVKRAFT staff will assist you inside the chamber, check on you during pressurization (the DIVE),  check on you once 1.3 ATM and full pressure have been achieved, and then again at the end of your session to start the depressurization (the ASCENT)

It's important to note that if at any time you feel uncomfortable or experience any pain, especially in your ears, you should notify LIVKRAFT Staff via phone or text eat 858-401-2383 immediately.

The goal is to ensure the session is both beneficial, comfortable, and most importantly safe for you.
