The Eleve EH36S Hyperbaric Chamber creates an atmosphere of 1.2 - 1.5 ATM which allows more oxygen to be absorbed by blood, other fluids, and tissues. The oxygen content of earth’s atmosphere and the air we breathe everyday at 1 ATM is around 21%. During a hyperbaric chamber session, ambient air is filtered through a compressor and fills the chamber. The chamber then pressurizes to anywhere between 1.2 - 1.5 ATM. based on your tolerance. During the session you will experience similar pressure that you would feel diving down into the deep end of a pool at about 20 - 50 feet underwater.
The increased pressure changes the partial pressure of Oxygen from 160mmHg to 237mmHg in the air. This then increases oxygen partial pressure in arterial blood from 100mmHg to 149mmHg and Venous blood from 39mmHG to 58mmHg. This means because of the higher pressure that more oxygen is dissolving in your blood and other tissues during a treatment.
The Eleve EH36S Mild Hyperbaric chamber is a Class II medical device. The chamber is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any diseases and any use of the chamber is an off-label use as determined by a prescription from your personal licensed medical professional or one of our physicians.
